As the year comes to an end...

I just wanted to reflect on everything that we've done this year!  It was another fantastic year for Steal Dawn and we could not have done it without the support of our fans and friends!  Brief recap of 2009 (and years gone by):

- We played 16 shows at Boars Crossing in 2009.  We've been playing here regularly since 2001!  We've played a total of 124 shows there and we're looking to add 14 more in 2010!

- We played 8 shows at the San Vicente Resort.  We've been performing there since May, 2004!  We've played 73 shows there to date, and we're adding 9 more shows for 2010!

- Our relationship with the military has continued as well.  We played 3 shows at the Officer's Club in Miramar this year!  We've been performing for the military since at least 2000 (that's as far back as I have records).  I'm sure we will be "pool side" at the "O'Club" again in the summer of 2010!

- On the "brush with greatness" front, we had the honor this year of playing the wedding reception of Jordan Pundik, lead singer of New Found Glory.  We had a great time playing for Jordan and new wife, Mandy, at the Oceanside Museum of Art!  Nothing like playing to a room of musicians and being told we rocked!  Congrats Jordan & Mandy... many years of happiness for you both!

In 2010, we're going to continue playing our private parties, as well as branching out into more clubs.  We're happy to announce that we WILL be returning to where it all began in Poway by scheduling dates at Kaminski's in Poway.  STEAL DAWN got its start in Poway!  They have finally reopened after the fire last year, and we're discussing open dates in 2010!  Hope you can make it out!
