HAPPY NEW YEAR!

We hope that everyone got through the holiday season safe and sound.  As for STEAL DAWN, we are already looking at a VERY FULL 2007!  Check out our TOUR DATES link on the left.  We are already scheduled to do about 60 shows (whew)!  ACTUALLY, MINUS 1 - *** Our date at San Vicente for January 26th has been cancelled.  They double-booked that night for a second time.  So, since they bumped the other band last time, we got bumped this time.  Hopefully you can come see us the following weekend at Boars.

We’ve added a new venue for 2007.  We’ve had to say goodbye to Woody’s in Escondido because they had to close their doors.  BUT, we’ve stayed in town and now you can come see us perform at The Comstock in Escondido.  See some old friends and make some new ones on either Friday or Saturday, February 16^th or 17^th!

As for other new things on Steal Dawn’s dashboard for 2007 is… a NEW CD!  The band has made a commitment to begin & FINISH a new CD this year!  We’ve put this off long enough and with all the equipment in our studios and the skills to do it, we are going to start writing some new material, and recording and producing it ourselves!  Stay tuned because IT WILL HAPPEN THIS YEAR!  And by all means, keep asking us how we’re doing on it.  It will help push us to complete it sooner than later. 

As if this project and all these shows weren’t enough, I am also going to complete my second solo CD this year.  I’ve already started the recording some of the tracks, as well as writing new ones and I’m very excited that this year, we will be able to offer you so much more music!  Hopefully, we’ll find some venues or opportunities to play these originals LIVE!

One last thing, our contest has been going slow.  The main reason is that we email winners and what they’ve won, but they few have claimed their prize.  Once you win in our drawing, we email you and request that you send us a mailing address so that we can send you your prize.  Without it, you just have the luxury of knowing you won something without lifting a finger.  But, we want to send you your prize.  So, please respond to our email and let us know where we can send it.  Otherwise, we’ll have to choose someone else!
